Professor of Philosophy at Jadavpur University, Calcutta. Debiprasad Chattopadhyaya (late), an eminent philosopher, was noted
for his work on materialism in the Indian tradition. D.P. Chattopadhyaya, Director of the Project of History of Indian
Science, Philosophy and Culture (PHISPC), was Professor of Philosophy at
Jadavpur University, Calcutta, and is currently a National Fellow of the
Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR). Sibajiban Bhattacharyya, formerly Professor of Philosophy at
different universities and
institutioins in India and abroad, is currently a National Fellow of the
Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR). Partha Ghose is a theoretical physicist at the S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Calcutta, and is an avid populariser of science |
